It’s almost that time of year that ya either love or hate – Valentine’s Day. I’ve never really had an opinion one way or the other, but I think this year especially, we should all should take the day to love on others a little more, whether it’s your friends, significant other or sister (HI LEXI).
And what’s the best way to show someone you love them? Food. Obviously. (like these cookies)
We’re celebrating Valentine’s Day a little early with our annual Galentine’s party this weekend. We normally cook (the first year we had a personal pizza bar, duh), but are getting it catered this year and can’t wait to show you how it all turns out – be sure to check our Insta stories on Sunday!
For those wanting to go out next Tuesday, there are so many solid menus at some delicious restaurants, so grab your boo or a group of your girlfriends, make reservations, and eat, drink and celebrate those you love!
Abacus> – we might trust Executive Chef Chris Patrick with our lives, so you should for sure trust his Valentine’s menu (hi, black-truffle-stuffed 44 Farms short rib porchetta)
Americano– grab a few V-day specials like french kiss oysters, beet gnudi and pasta pescatore at one of our favorite Dallas spots
Bistro 31– this Highland Park Village staple is perfect for a Galentine’s celebration
CBD Provisions – order the Chateaubriand steak for two, and you won’t disappoint your date
Dallas Chop House – enjoy a three-course menu with standout dishes like beef carpaccio with an Iberico ham chutney and seared salmon with truffled savory cabbage
Flora St. Cafe – snag one of the hottest tables in Dallas right now and enjoy a three-course menu crafted by Stephan Pyles
Pappas Bros. Steakhouse – by far one of the best places to snag a steak in town, and a three-course meal for less than $75 is too good to pass up
The Mansion – impress your date with a special three-course meal at this iconic spot, and indulge on dishes like black truffle ravioli and tenderloin rossini with seared foie gras
Toulouse – eat like you’re in the City of Love with sweet petitie oysters, beef wellington and a spicy dark chocolate fondue
Wanna be our Valentine?!?
